The “Schedule Settings” page is where you may customize the “Time Off” feature to reflect your operations.
To get to the “Schedule Settings” page:
- Click “Schedules” under the Management menu.
- Click “Settings” in the upper right-hand corner to navigate to the “Schedule Settings” page.
The “Schedule Settings” page is split into 3 tabs that each cover a Woven feature, and each tab allows you to customize how that feature works in Woven.
In the “Time Off” tab, there are 7 configurations:
- Time Off Reason – This section defines the answers a team member can use when submitting a time-off request.
- Time Off Request Policy Copy – You may provide text describing your time-off request policy here. If provided, this text will appear to team members as they submit their time-off requests.
- Minimum Days’ Notice To Submit Time Off Request – You can toggle on whether you would like to not allow a team member to submit time off if they are past the minimum days’ notice (e.g. if I tried to submit time off 3 days before my vacation started and the minimum days’ notice to submit time off is 7 days, I will not be able to submit time off.)
- Minimum Days’ Notice To Submit Without Shift Coverage Prompt - You can toggle on whether you would like to not allow a team member to submit time off without getting their shift covered if they are past the minimum days’ notice (e.g. if I tried to submit time off 10 days before my vacation started without getting my shift covered and the minimum days’ notice to submit time off without getting my shift covered is 14 days, I will be unable to submit time off.)
- Require a Make-Up Shift if Allowable Time Off is Exceeded – You can require a makeup shift when a team member is submitting time off after they have exceeded their allowed time off.
- Dates Not Available for Time Off Requests – You can set dates where team members are not allowed to schedule time off (e.g., by selecting “12/24/2020,” team members may not submit time off for 12/24/2020).
- Number of Hours in a Full Day - This section defines the number of hours in a shift. By default, this value is set to 8.
