Shift Giveaway

Team Members, with the appropriate Role permission enabled, can Giveaway a Shift. Giving away a Shift will notify all Team Members with the same Position of the available Shift. Shifts will still be assigned to the original Team Member until approved by management. The Giveaway function is available in the desktop and mobile app versions of Woven.

To Giveaway a Shift:

Open the Shift you wish Giveaway, and click on the Giveaway button

Desktop:

In the mobile app, open the Shift you wish to Giveaway, click on the three dots icon in the top right, and then Shift Giveaway:

On Desktop, after clicking on Giveaway, you have the option of adding a note before clicking on Giveaway. In both the Desktop experience, and the mobile apps, after clicking on Giveaway there is a Read and Confirm box.

After clicking the checkbox, and then the Send/ Submit Giveaway button you will see an additional message indicating your Giveaway has been started. Please remember, the Shift is still yours until another Team Member offers to take your Shift and it is approved by your Manager. Giveaway requests can be cancelled by clicking on the Cancel/ Withdraw Giveaway button.
