An individual task is a standalone, single-task item that does not repeat and is not part of a scheduled series. It’s a unique task with a specific goal or deadline that is distinct from other tasks.
To create, view, and delete Tasks, you must have access to the following permissions in your Role’s section access, under the Miscellaneous drop-down menu: Task - Add Task, Task - Dashboard, Task – Delete My Task, Task – Update Expired Tasks, and Task – Update Task.
To Create a new Task, in the Tasks preview main page, navigate to the New Task Button.
To create a Task in Woven, first complete the Task Name, Status, Priority, Assignees or Teams, Tags, and Due Dates. You can also attach relevant documents by dropping files or browsing your computer.

To add Checklist Items to a Task, click the + Group button to create a group, like “Supplies.” Then, add individual Checklist items, assign them, and set due dates as needed.
If grouping Checklist items are not necessary, you can simply just start adding Checklist items without using the +Group function.
Once you click the Create button, your Task will show on the view you have designated.
In the example below, the Task is shown on the Board View in the OPEN Task board.
Your Task is ready! To view and update it, click on the Task in your view. You can add notes, update assignees, change the due date, add a description, add checklist items, and adjust the priority.
Pro Tip: You can add Tasks multiple ways from different views. The ||| drop down menu allows you to switch views. You can create a Task from each of these views.
In Board View, simply click on the + sign to Create a new Task:
In List View, click on “Create a new task…” to begin creating your Task:
