How to Embed Videos into an Announcement

You can enhance your announcements by embedding video links directly into the message. This is a powerful way to communicate key information or share content that’s important for team members to view.

There are two ways to embed a video in an announcement:

• Add to a new announcement: Include the video link while creating a new message.

• Add to an existing announcement: Insert the video into a published or unpublished announcement.

To embed a video into an announcement:

1. Click “Announcements” under the Management menu.
2. Click into the unpublished announcement you would like to embed the video in.

3. Click the blue “Edit Content” button.

You will be taken to the announcement’s editor page. Here you will be able to add text, hyperlinks, images, and embedded videos to your announcement.

4. Click the media icon. A pop-up will appear asking for the video URL.

To get a URL for your video, please use one of the following platforms (links for how to upload videos to these platforms are also provided):

5. Once you have the video URL, enter it into the “Insert/Edit Media” pop-up message on Woven

6. Click the blue “Save” button. The video has now been added to the announcement.
7. When you have finished adding the content to your announcement, click the “X” button in the upper right-hand corner to leave the content editor page.

When you are ready, you can publish the announcement.
