When a team member submits a missed shift, Woven automatically notifies the manager via email.
PRO TIP: Woven can also send these notifications to other team members of certain positions (e.g., an assistant manager). To customize these settings, go to the building icon (upper right-hand corner) and select “Account Settings.” Click on the “Notifications” tab and follow its instructions. (If you don’t see the “Notifications” tab, you don’t have permissions to view this tab. If you have access to the “Security” tab, you can give your role access to the “Notifications” tab by clicking on your role’s “Configure” option.)
Woven can also be configured to send automatic missed-shift notifications to team members in the same position as the team member who is missing their shift. Furthermore, you can also configure these notifications to send to (a) only the team members who share the same gender as the team member who is missing their shift and/or (b) only team members who share the same primary location as the team member who is missing their shift.

These notifications will instruct these team members to click on a link to indicate to their managers that they may be available to cover the shift.
Woven will send Managers emails and Direct Messages to notify them of team members interested in covering the shift.
Managers then just have to contact the team member whom they want to cover the missed shift.
