Woven's integration with DISA allows Team Members' background check and screening information to be fed transferred directly between Woven and DISA.
To get started, go to Account Settings > Integrations.
- Click on the DISA icon. If you have not yet set up Woven's DISA integration you will be taken to the DISA Account Setup screen.
- Enter the following information provided by DISA:
- DISA Partner ID
- DISA Shared Secret
- DISA API Key
- Fill in the Authorization checkbox.
- Click the Submit button. Additional configuration details will be displayed.
- Under "Woven DISA Configuration" the following options and fields are available:
- Email Address to Notify on Error - Enter the email address of the person to be contacted should any errors occur during the setup process.
- Auto Verify on Order Complete: No enabled by default. If yes is selected verification will happen automatically upon a DISA order completing
- DISA Background by Employee Manager: Yes/No, enabled by default. If yes, screening orders will be submitted to DISA using the employee’s assigned manager as the submitter.
- Woven Terms: The date Woven terms were agreed to, and the team member who agreed to them.
- DISA Background by Employee Override: Dropdown menu. If not submitting screening orders using the employee's assigned manager, this will be the employee used as the submitter on all screening orders.
- Email Address to Notify on Error - Enter the email address of the person to be contacted should any errors occur during the setup process.
- Under "DISA Configuration" the following options and fields are available:
- Require Application Payment: Yes/No, disabled by default. Enable if your applicants are required to pay. You will not be billed for the screening. The applicant will be required to pay with a credit card.
- Rush Order: Yes/No, disabled by default. Enable to rush this order for an additional fee. Please note, certain searches/services cannot be expedited including:
- Criminal searches that require court assistance to fulfill DISA's request
- Employment/education verifications
- Professional references
- International searches
- Drug and occupational testing
- Motor vehicle reports.
- By clicking this box, users are accepting financial responsibility for the rush service.
- DISA API Key
- DISA Shared Secret (obscured)
- DISA Partner ID
- Under DISA Position Configuration users can adjust additional DISA settings per position by clicking into the Position title.
- Automation: New Hire Screening allows users to trigger a DISA background check for newly hired team members.
- To enable 'New Hire Screening' the days after hire date must be greater than 0. In Days After Hire Date, set the number of days after hire to trigger an automated screening.
- Select your DISA package using the Select Package dropdown menu.
- Click the Yes button to enable. (disabled by default)
- Automation: Existing Employee Re-screening allows users to automatically trigger a re-screening of an expired background check.
- In Days After Expiration, set the number of days after hire to trigger an automated re-screening.
- Select your DISA package using the Select Package dropdown menu.
- Click the Yes button to enable. (disabled by default)
- Automation: New Hire Screening allows users to trigger a DISA background check for newly hired team members.
- Manual Orders: Packages and Services Available provides users with four manual background check configuration options:
- Select Background Check Packages
- Select Background Check Services
- Select Employment Verification Packages
- Select Employment Verification Services
- Under Location Billing Code Mappings allows users to configure different billing codes per location. Unless specified, all locations will share the same billing code.
- Once your Woven DISA integration has been configured, click the Enabled Yes/No toggle to enable.
