Overview
You can set up notifications regarding schedules, location audits, incidents, work orders, preventative maintenance, part inventory, supply inventory, team members, and recurring notifications to go to team members of certain positions and to location email addresses. Depending on the features you have adopted, you may or may not see all of the below features in the “Notifications” tab of “Account Settings.”
To add a position to the recipient list of a notification:
1. Click the building icon in the upper right-hand corner, then select “Account Settings”
2. Click the “Notifications” tab
Schedule Related Notifications
Click into "Schedule Related." You will see instructions for sending notifications about time-off requests, call-ins, pick-up offers, availability, and changes to hours in a published scheduled week. By default, notifications will automatically send to the assigned manager for each location. You can change this by clicking the "Disable Default Receiver" box. You can also add team members of certain positions in the blank fields and send notifications to the location's email address by clicking the "Include Location Email" box.
Location Audit Related Notifications
Click into "Location Audit Related." The notifications for “Location Audits” will automatically send to the assigned manager for each location. You can change this by selecting the "Disable Default Receiver" box. In the blank fields, you can add team members of certain positions, and you have the option to also select the location's email. Leave fields empty if you only want your assigned manager to continue receiving these notifications.
Incident Related Notifications
Click into "Incident Related." The notifications for “Incidents” will automatically send to the assigned manager for each location. Change this by clicking the "Disable Default Receiver" box. By completing the fields in this section, team members of certain positions will receive these notifications. You have the option to also select the location's email. Leave these fields empty if you only want your assigned manager to continue receiving these notifications.
Work Orders Related Notifications
Click into "Work Orders Related." The notifications for “Work Orders” will automatically send to the person assigned to the work order. You can change this by selecting "Disable Default Receiver." In the blank fields, you can add team members of certain positions, and you have the option to also select the location's email. Leave these fields empty if you only want the assigned person to receive the notifications.
Preventative Maintenance Related Notifications
Click into "Preventative Maintenance Related." These notifications are NOT sent to anyone automatically. Fill out the fields in this section if you want team members of certain positions or the location's email address to receive these notifications. Leave the fields empty if you do not want anyone to be notified when these events occur.
Asset Related Notifications
Click into "Asset Related." By default, these notifications will automatically send to the assigned manager of the Location where the Asset is assigned. You can change this by clicking "Disable Default Receiver." In the blank fields, you can add team members of certain positions. Click "Include Location Email" to have the notification go to the location's email. Leave the fields empty if you only want the assigned manager of the Asset's location to continue receiving these notifications.
Part Inventory Related Notifications
Click into "Part Inventory Related." The notifications for “Parts Inventories” will automatically send to the assigned owner of the inventory. You can change this by clicking "Disable Default Receiver." By completing the fields in this section, team members of certain positions can also receive notifications regardless of their primary location. Leave these fields empty if you only want the assigned owner to continue receiving these notifications.
Supply Inventory Related Notifications
Click into "Supply Inventory Related." The notifications for “Supply Inventories” will automatically send to the assigned owner of the inventory. You can change this by clicking the "Disable Default Receiver" box. In the blank fields, you can add team members of certain positions regardless of their primary location and you can send notifications to the location's email by clicking "Include Location Email." Leave the fields empty if you only want the assigned owner to continue receiving these notifications.
Team Member Related Notifications
Click into "Team Member Related." The notifications for “Team Members” will automatically send to the assigned manager for each location. You can change this by clicking "Disable Default Receiver." By completing the fields in this section, team members of certain positions will receive these notifications, and you have the option to send notifications to the location's email address by clicking the "Include Location Email" box. Leave these fields empty if you only want your assigned manager to continue receiving these notifications.
Recurring Notifications
Click into "Recurring Notifications." These notifications will automatically send to the assigned manager for each location. You can change this by selecting "Disable Default Receiver." By completing the fields in this section, team members of certain positions and the location's email address can also receive notifications. Leave the fields empty if you only want the assigned manager to receive them.
