"Categories" and "Tags" represent a group of related procedures. "Categories" and "Tags" make it easy for team members to find specific procedures in Woven.
PRO TIP: A procedure can have multiple tags, but it can only belong to one category.
To add or change a procedure’s category or tag(s):
1. Click the Knowledge Base in the upper right-hand corner
2. Select “Operating Procedures”
3.. Click the procedure that you want to edit.
4. Click the blue "Edit" button in the upper right-hand corner to update the procedures category or tag(s).
Once you are on the "Procedure Details," you can update the procedures category and tag(s)
Categories
To update a procedures category:
1. Click the "Category" drop-down and select the new category that this procedure falls under.
2. To remove a category, click the (x) to the left of the category name.
3. Changes will be automatically saved.
4. When done, click the "Back to Procedure" button to the right of the procedure name.
Tags
To update a procedures tag(s):
1. Click into the "Tags" text box and select the new tag(s) that this procedure falls under.
2. To remove a tag, click the (x) to the right of the tag's name.
3. Changes will be automatically saved.
4. When done, click the "Back to Procedure" button to the right of the procedure name.
PRO TIP: While procedures aren’t required to have categories or tags, categories and tags make it easier for team members to find the procedure they are looking for if they are unsure of the name.
PRO TIP: Create a new tag or edit existing tags so that you have a complete list of tags to choose from for your procedures by:
- Clicking the "Settings" button to the right of "Procedures" when on the main Procedures page.
- Clicking the green “+Add Tag" text which will create a new tag titled, "New Tag Name."
- Clicking the "New Tag Name" text and replace it with your new tag name.
